Pirelli, one of the symbols of Italian industrial excellence, has been turning heads as well as cars at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, with its iconic P ZERO and P ZERO Colour Edition tyres appearing on some of the world's newest and fastest models on display at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) this week.

At the opening of the region's biggest automotive event, the Dubai International Motor Show (DIMS), Porsche revealed four new models for the first time in the Middle East. The brand's sports car showcase featured the latest generation Cayenne, as well as the all-new Panamera Sport Turismo, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the limited edition 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. Alongside the model debuts, Porsche Works Driver and newly crowned FIA WEC Driver's Champion in the LMP1 category, Earl Bamber was in attendance to highlight how the brand's motorsport achievements are helping create the sports car of the future.

Nissan, the official global automotive sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, has invited football fans and petrol heads to connect and engage in its interactive stand at this year's Dubai International Motor Show (DIMS). Combining the region's love of football and motoring, the auto manufacturer has equipped six Nissan Kicks to control a UEFA football game, converting the cars' steering wheels and pedals into a PlayStation controller.

While it's always exciting to see the latest cars and technology that manufacturers are rolling out at motor shows, some of the biggest crowd pleasers can be those classics and beauties from yesteryear that have been restored or maintained and help tell the story of how cars and SUVs got to where they are now.

BMW Group Middle East together with its local importer AGMC revealed the all-new BMW Concept X7 iPerformance on the first day of the Dubai International Motor Show 2017, which is currently taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre until November 18. Also revealed for the first time in the region was the much-anticipated BMW M5, and the all-new BMW X3.

Chevrolet announced at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, that within a year, car buyers in Dubai, UAE, and select markets in the Middle East will be able to order the Chevrolet Bolt EV.

Genesis has shown its compact G70 sedan for the first time in the Middle East, with a regional unveiling at Dubai International Motor Show.

INFINITI Motor Company revealed the new QX80 full-size luxury SUV today for the first time at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show. Further advancing INFINITI's market-leading presence in the full-size luxury SUV segment, the QX80 takes INFINITI's 'Powerful Elegance' design language in a bold new direction, creating a powerful, contemporary and commanding aesthetic.

The world's most luxurious motor car, the New Rolls-Royce Phantom took its place at the Dubai International Motor Show for its regional public debut alongside the one-off Bespoke Spirit of Calligraphy Ghost and Dawn Black Badge. The region's luxury and motoring enthusiasts alike gathered to be among the first to see 'The Best Car in the World' as presented by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars' CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös.

The global premieres of two very special Range Rovers - the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic and the Range Rover Sport SVR - took place today on the Jaguar Land Rover stand at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, to the surprise and delight of a rapt audience of media representatives and show goers.
