Cyber Bullet - Chevrolet Camaro Ss

For this issue's Spoil Your Ride feature we bring you one of the best-tuned muscle cars that won the "car of the week" via the famous www.camaro5 website: Chevrolet Camaro SS! I personally have a special place in my heart for the Camaro as it is my daily car too. We met Pierre Nercessian, 37 years old and jeweler manufacturer in Lebanon, and wholesale distributor in Dubai.

Nercessian's passion for cars started when he was a little boy, but his passion for tuning started at the age of 20. He was influenced by pure passion for power and beauty.

He changed many cars in his life, and not all of them were tuned. His first fully tuned car was a 2000 Dodge Durango. Second car was the Volkswagen GTI 1.8T Mk4 which was tuned on the exterior and interior. Later on, he acquired a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII. The peak of his tuning hobby was reached when he bought a Camaro SS and decided to make it his dream car.

The exterior look include the following: General Motors ground effects sides and front, Havoc rear diffuser outer painted and carbon fiber centerpiece, AAC side markers, LED bowtie, DRLs p13ws and number plate LEDs, 3D CARBON side vents, custom DIY shark fin antenna, front and rear carbon DIY vinyl, 70% rear windshield tint, 30% rear side windows tint, Xpel rear taillights tint, SLP side vents fade away vinyl, ANVIL carbon fiber spoiler, ACS T3 front bumper ports with diamond back mesh, Phastek custom illuminated door handles, AAC 2.0 Halo kit with new controller, Heritage grille, VDI vertical door kit, XENON side scoops with ACC painted inserts, painted rims, headlight and turn signals Xpel tint kit, Giovanna Kilis 22s +Pirelli P Zero Nero, MPD1 Z force ram air hood and carbon flash color painted tail light bezels.

The interior tuning include: Rockford fosgate 10 inch subwoofer, Rockford fosgate 500w amp, chrome speaker SS rings, chrome gauge cluster trim, Drake aluminum pedals with carbon fiber inserts, AAC dome and trunk LEDs, AAC footwell 15 inch ABL, DIY rear footwell & glove compartment & cup holder LEDs, under hood chrome and billet caps and accessories, DIY engine cover laser cut stainless accessories, DIY under door lighting, coolant reservoir cap, oil cap, strut tower caps, oil dipstick cover, ABS polished stainless cover, brake oil reservoir chrome cover, DIY engine cover LED lighting, dual gauge pod pillar, Evo digital boost gauge, Evo digital wide band air fuel ratio gauge, DIY engine cover modification to house the sc, Hurst comp shifter plate, billet paddle shifters, polished battery terminal cover, gloss black cup holder cover, CGM color matched center console, steering wheel bezel and speedo meter bezels, illuminated door sills, chrome trim rings on the interior buttons and handles, and E-brake leather boot.

In terms of performance, Nercessian did couple of modifications such as: Hennessey CAI, Hennessey tune and AFM delete, ARH LT headers, CORSA cutback exhaust, MSD spark plug wires, ZR1 iridium spark plugs removed, EIBACH 1 inch lowering sport springs, supercharger Magnusson TVS 2300, RX catch can and DIY OEM strut brace with brackets.

After he graduated from high school, he started working in his family business and been doing that ever since. Pierre is married and has 2 sons. Both of them have a crazy passion for cars, but his elder son, who reminds him a lot of himself with his curiosity about tuning and parts, has been his assistant when tuning cars since his early days.

Nercessian told us, "I mostly love performance tuning, but since I had a passion for muscle cars, I decided to buy a Camaro and tune it inside out." He added, "I have always followed ArabWheels issues because it's the best English car magazine in the Middle East and Arab World, and Spoil Your Ride is my favorite section."

He also stated that tuning cars is a great hobby that requires a lot of skill, patience, vision and knowledge; but when you build a powerful show car, the most important thing is driving safely because reckless driving endangers other people as well as your own life.

Finally, he thanks ArabWheels for giving him the chance to be in our issue.

Buckle up, and we meet in the next issue for a new ride and new driver.
