Chevrolet Introduces the 2016 Cruze

Chevrolet is rolling out its latest model of its popular global car across the region, the 2016 Cruze.

The 2016 Cruze has dynamic and sophisticated new exterior styling. Inside, it comes with a luxurious new color. It maintains the same high level of safety that the nameplate has enjoyed since its domestic market debut in 2011.

The main focus during the design process was to make the model more sophisticated, with a more refined and mature look. The 2016 Cruze is targeted at customers who have a focused, goal-oriented lifestyle that matches the design intentions of the model.

The 2016 Cruze has a wide and low stance. It comes with a new fascia and new grille design, which offer a hint of Chevrolet’s next-generation design identity. The car has balanced proportions, details, and a stylish yet stable and confident presence.

Style and technology come together in the 2016 Cruze. LED daytime running light (DRL) positioning lamps, projection fog lamps and dual square-type taillamps strengthen the Chevrolet character while adding value to the customer. Sophisticated design accents include chrome details on the front grille and garnishes, and boomerang-shaped chrome bezels.

The new rear fascia has a more balanced taillamp design that enhances the sculptural lines of the Cruze. Gently restrained lines extend from the rear bumper to the trunk. A wide chrome bar on the upper rear bumper gives the back end a more sophisticated and luxurious look.

The trendy new Saddle Up interior color and a choice of newly designed 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels add to the refined character.

The Cruze, which surpassed worldwide sales of 3 million units since its introduction, has collected 39 product awards around the globe.

The Cruze received a first-class rating with a perfect score in full-frontal and side crash tests carried out by the Korean New Car Assessment Program (KNCAP). It received the highest crashworthiness score of 97.7 points among 13 vehicles tested in 2014.

The Cruze is equipped with an array of technically advanced safety systems, including Sensitive Electronic Stability Control (SESC) and Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA), which alerts the driver if a vehicle is in the left- or right-side blind spot.
