Gargour Automotive Showcases Italian Automotive Design and Innovation at Vinifest 2017

Gargour Automotive Company (GAC), the only authorised distributor of FCA's Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Ram and Mopar brands in Lebanon, displayed the latest in Italian automotive excellence at the 10th edition of Vinifest, the annual Lebanese wine festival held at the Hippodrome du Parc de Beyrouth from 4-7 October.

"As well as wine, Italy is known around the world for fashion and design, so Vinifest was a great opportunity for us to give the thousands of people who visited the event the opportunity to admire the latest Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Fiat models available from our showrooms," said Negib Debs, General Manager of GAC.

"The Alfa Romeo 4C, Giulietta and Giulia, Abarth 595, Fiat 500X and Fiat 500S models are perfect examples of how Italian design translates into a range of exciting vehicles that all have their own unique personalities and meet different driving needs."

Inspired by the century-old tradition of Alfa Romeo, and combining Italian style, performance and engineering excellence to deliver maximum driving satisfaction in total safety, the hand crafted 4C supercar - powered by a 1750cc direct injection turbo petrol engine - offers the very highest quality levels and amazingly refined technology that perfectly embody the Alfa Romeo brand's deepest values.

The Giulietta Veloce, powered by a 1750cc 240hp direct injection Turbo MultiAir petrol engine, combined with a powertrain with TCT offers, as standard, fog lights, satin finish wing mirrors, dual zone climate control and cruise control - every detail shows that the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce is a powerful and distinctive hatchback car.

Undeniably inspired by its namesake of a half century ago - in its elegant style, alluring details and impressive aerodynamics - and its own set of breakthrough innovations, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia line up now available in Lebanon comprises four trim levels - the 200-280hp 2.0-litre 4 cylinder powered Giulia, Super & Veloce models plus the brand's new benchmark, the Giulia Quadrifoglio (QV), which is equipped with a powerful 510hp six-cylinder 2.9-litre twin turbo petrol engine inspired by Ferrari technology and expertise. Both engine options are made in Italy and built entirely in aluminium.

"It's fair to say that with the latest Alfa Romeo models not only is the thrill of driving back - it's better than ever," said Debs.

The Fiat 500X, powered by a fuel-efficient 140hp 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo engine paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, combines the authentic Italian design and personality that the Fiat brand is renowned for, along with an unprecedented level of equipment and technology. With comfortable seating for five, world-class craftsmanship, and superior ride and handling, the 500X delivers driving excitement, safety and functionality to the rapidly growing small crossover segment.

Other new additions to the Fiat 500 family are the sedan and convertible versions of the 500S - the sportiest interpretation of the iconic Cinquecento. This model is the ideal answer for drivers who are looking for seeking looks and full standard equipment. The 500S models feature new sportier bumpers, integrated fog lights, side skirts and unique spoilers plus exclusive Satin Graphite painted handles, mirror caps and standard alloy rims, all of which match the details of the bumper.

Other standard equipment includes chrome-plated tailpipe, "black grained" air intakes and an eye-catching honeycomb grille. There's also a new exterior colour palette - metallised Italia Blue and new matte Alpi Green. Inside, there are stylish black seats and roof liner with blue, white or yellow door panels and profiles. Sophisticated Frau leather upholstery with white or blue details is also available on request. Satin Graphite accents continue through on the dashboard fascia and special sporty steering wheel.

The latest addition to GAC's range of Italian vehicles is the Abarth brand, whose line up features vehicles that have always been renowned for their high performance and power - but first and foremost for being small and agile just like the Scorpion that features prominently on the brand's logo.

"With a strong focus on premium performance, iconic Italian style and craftsmanship expressed in every product plus a constant programme of technological upgrades, the latest Abarth 595 features more powerful engines, even richer standard equipment and plenty of product innovations," said Debs.
