Dub Drive GCC in full colour

A video encapsulating the spirit of Dub Drive GCC - the largest ever gathering of Volkswagen owners in the Middle East, has been released and is now available for viewing on youtube.com/volkswagenmiddleeast. Held on April 21, the event was attended by over 150 vehicles and 300 guests from across the region - including one Dub Driver who drove 1,941 km from Jeddah in a Volkswagen Eos to participate in the region’s largest ever Volkswagen convoy through Dubai.

The first-of-its-kind event was organized by Volkswagen Middle East and Volkswagen owners to have a platform to gather, showcase their cars, and celebrate their unique love for the brand.

"Dub Drive GCC brought us closer to our customers from across the region - it provided us with opportunity to personally engage with them and witness the extraordinary passion for our products first hand. The short clip encapsulates the energy at the event, and we look forward to an even bigger and better gathering next year to highlight our continuous appreciation and dedication to our customers," commented Andrew Savvas, Brand Director Volkswagen Middle East.

Dub Drive GCC saw classic, limited edition and Volkswagen models take part in the convoy around Dubai, before converging at the Dubai Autodrome for track laps and a wider celebration of the cars. Ahead of the gathering, many of the drivers from Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia had driven thousands of kilometers directly from their home countries to participate.

The video is now live across Facebook and YouTube on facebook.com/VolkswagenME and youtube.com/volkswagenmiddleeast respectively.
